After looking around on the internet, I found that Autodesk have actually made their own version of a quick tour of the ribbon. Even though it makes my little amateur movie obsolete, I thought I'd share... :)

I found this via another Revit Blog. It's a lot of sales mumbo-jumbo, but it does explain the idea behind the ribbon.

The Ribbon. A new "feature" of Revit 2010.\
Love it or hate it, but we're stuck with it. So we might as well us it to our advantage.
In this little movie I show the basic usage of the ribbon, accessing via the mouse wheel and the Quick Access Toolbar.
I personally have put the "Thin Lines", "Change Window" and "Close Hidden" commands in my Quick Access Toolbar. For the rest I tend to use keyboard shortcuts.

Getting used to ribbons is hard for me and I still get the feeling that I click more than necessary.
So for all you mouse-lazy people out there (like me), I have made a pdf with the standard keyboard shortcuts used in Revit 2010. You can find that here.
To change them, edit this file:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010\Program\KeyboardShortcuts.txt
Don't forget to make a backup of your original!
Well, here we go.
At the office we've just started introducing Revit 2010 and I have the great responsibility to get everyone on board. So I am diving into the deep end and am trying to unterstand what all this 3D-model-stuff and BIM-hype is all about.
And since I am finding out things every day I figured I might as well put them down in a blog for my colleagues as well as the rest of the world. You never know, maybe this helps.
Karma, baby!
